Rethinking Your Landed Home: More Living Space, More Nature

When we design a landed home, we ask: are we giving the best spaces to the way your family lives?
Put your utility, helper room, yard and store room up up and away!

The first storey connects directly to the garden. Yet much of this valuable space is often occupied by utility rooms, laundry yards and the helper’s bedroom. With thoughtful planning, some of these functions can move upstairs, freeing the ground floor for family living.

More space where it matters

Relocating service areas can create a more generous living room, a dining space overlooking greenery or a courtyard that brings daylight deeper into the house.

The benefit goes beyond floor area. Longer views, better connections between rooms and fewer enclosed service spaces can make the whole ground floor feel more open and welcoming. A lift makes moving laundry and household supplies between floors easier. Placing the laundry area near the bedrooms can also simplify daily routines.

With a lift, upstairs becomes practical

The arrangement must still suit the household. A helper’s room should offer comfort, privacy, daylight and ventilation. Upstairs utility areas need proper drainage, weather protection and convenient access—all considered from the start.
